Dr. Sumeet Kumar of Modi College gets a Patent for an Innovative Computer Design

A team of researchers led by Dr. (Flying Officer) Sumeet Kumar, Associate Professor and NCC Officer of Air Wing from Multani Mal Modi College Patiala has been granted a patent for the innovative design of a Id card holder with pen drive slot. This cutting-edge invention is registered with the Patent office, Government of India to ensure its uniqueness and protection under the intellectual property rights.
College Principal Dr. Neeraj Goyal congratulated Dr. Sumeet Kumar on his unique research and brilliant achievement and said that Modi college is committed for research and innovation in Scientific and technical fields for the welfare of the society and the nation.
Dr. Sumeet Kumar told that our patented design showcases a seam less integration Id card holder with pen drive slot enhancing user experience and functionality. He also said that the collaborative effort of his team has culminated in a product that promised to redefine the way we interact with the computers.
All faculty members appreciated and congratulated Dr. Sumeet Kumar.

ਮੁਲਤਾਨੀ ਮੱਲ ਮੋਦੀ ਕਾਲਜ ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਵਿਖੇ ਐਸੋਸੀਏਟ ਪ੍ਰੋਫੈਸਰ ਵੱਜੋਂ ਕਾਰਜਗਤ ਅਤੇ ਐਨ.ਸੀ.ਸੀ ਏਅਰ ਵਿੰਗ ਦੇ ਡਾ. (ਫਲਾਇੰਗ ਅਫਸਰ) ਸੁਮੀਤ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੰਪਿਊਟਰ ਸਾਇੰਸ ਦੇ ਵਿਗਿਆਨਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਇੱਕ ਟੀਮ ਨੂੰ ‘ਪਛਾਣ-ਪੱਤਰ ਹੋਲਡਰ ਵਿਦ ਪੈੱਨ-ਡਰਾਈਵ ਸਲੌਟ’ ਦੇ ਨਵੀਨਤਮ ਡਿਜ਼ਾਈਨ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਪੇਟੈਂਟ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਅਤਿ-ਆਧੁਨਿਕ ਖੋਜ ਪੇਟੈਂਟ ਦਫ਼ਤਰ, ਭਾਰਤ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਕੋਲ ਰਜਿਸਟਰਡ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਕਿ ਬੌਧਿਕ ਸੰਪਤੀ ਦੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਅਧੀਨ ਇਸ ਖੋਜ-ਕਾਰਜ ਦੀ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਨੂੰ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਜਾ ਸਕੇ।
ਕਾਲਜ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ. ਨੀਰਜ ਗੋਇਲ ਨੇ ਡਾ. ਸੁਮੀਤ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਇਸ ਵਿਲੱਖਣ ਖੋਜ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤੀ ਲਈ ਵਧਾਈ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਮੋਦੀ ਕਾਲਜ ਸਮਾਜ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰ ਦੀ ਭਲਾਈ ਲਈ ਵਿਗਿਆਨ ਅਤੇ ਤਕਨੀਕ ਦੇ ਆਧੁਨਿਕ ਖੇਤਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਖੋਜ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਨਵੀਨ ਡਿਜ਼ਾਈਨ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਅਧਿਆਪਕਾਂ ਤੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਰ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਵਚਨਬੱਧ ਹੈ।
ਡਾ. ਸੁਮੀਤ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਸਾਡਾ ਪੇਟੈਂਟ ਹੋਇਆ ਡਿਜ਼ਾਇਨ ‘ਪਛਾਣ-ਪੱਤਰ ਹੋਲਡਰ ਵਿਦ ਪੈੱਨ-ਡਰਾਈਵ ਸਲੌਟ’ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਦੋਵਾਂ ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਡਿਜ਼ੀਟਲ ਖਾਤਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਸੀ ਤਾਲਮੇਲ ਵਧਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਅੁਪੇਸ਼ਨ ਸਿਸਟਮ ਨੂੰ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਝੰਜਟ ਨਾਲ ਚਲਾਉਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਦੱਦ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ । ਇਹ ਉਪਭੋਗਤਾ ਦੀ ਕਾਰਜਸ਼ੀਲਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਵਧਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਖੋਜ ਸਾਡੀ ਟੀਮ ਆਪਸੀ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਅਤੇ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਯਤਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਤੀਜਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਸਾਡੇ ਡਿਜ਼ੀਟਲ ਖਾਤਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੰਚਾਰ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਤਰੀਕੇ ਨੂੰ ਮੁੜ ਪਰਿਭਾਸ਼ਿਤ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।
ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਤੇ ਕੰਪਿਊਟਰ ਸਾਇੰਸ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਸਮੂਹ ਸਟਾਫ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਡਾ. ਸੁਮੀਤ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾਈ ਦਿੱਤੀ।
